Biblical Missions and the Local Church

The Global Ecclesiology and Missiology Internship is a one-year internship designed to train the next generation to understand and apply biblical convictions about the local church and the call to make disciples of all nations.

Our vision

Term 1

The first six months will be spent as a member of a healthy local church in the United States. The internship involves reading, writing, and discussion with the elders and staff coupled with local evangelism and church-based discipleship.

The second six months will be spent as a member of an English-speaking International church around the world, learning and serving in a cross-cultural context.

FAQ

Do I have to raise my own support?

Yes, this is a support-raised opportunity.  We will equip you with the tools needed to raise support from your own community and network.

How much does it cost?

Depending on your location, you will need to raise between $2,500-$4,500 a month.  

When will I know if I am accepted and where I am going?

Applications will be available until July 31 for the following year.  After a series of interviews with Reaching & Teaching and the local churches, selected candidates will be notified of their placement by the end of August.  

What are the dates?

The Internship will begin January 3rd and end December 15th of 2023.

Will housing be provided?

Yes, Reaching & Teaching will be working with the churches to secure a housing arrangement that will meet the needs of the interns.  The cost for housing is built into the total monthly amount.

How old must I be to participate and is there an education requirement?

We are accepting applications from individuals aged 21-30.  Applicants are required to have a Bachelors Degree.

What should I expect when I turn in my application?

After you turn in your application, you will be contacted by a Mobilizer for an initial interview. If approved to move forward, the following steps would ensue:

- Complete a Theological and Confidential Questionnaire

- Interview with Reaching & Teaching Leadership

- Interview with a participating local church

-Placements will be determined mid-September
