São Tomé

São Tomé and Príncipe

São Tomé and Principe is a group of small islands off of the west coast of Africa in the Gulf of Guinea. The islands were inhabited by Portugal around 1500 and the country established independence in 1975. We will be providing the training in the capital city on the main island of São Tomé.

Objectives

A network of pastors and church leaders on these islands have been trained in Bible Storying and have requested more thorough theological training. A group of German missionaries who have a training facility and a great relationship with this network of pastors invited us to continue training these leaders.

Travel & Accommodations

The team will travel to the beautiful island of São Tomé and stay in the capital city. Pastors will come into town from across the eastern coast of the island while the teaching team will lodge at the mission house of a partner ministry. Once at the house there is minimal in-town travel for the teaching team.
