Southeast Asia

In this country, the predominant ethnic group remains one of the largest unreached people groups in Southeast Asia, yet many missions organizations continue to target minority groups in rural areas rather than the growing cities in the region. Though there are some well-established local churches in the city, they tend to struggle and lack healthy models of church life and discipleship. Sadly, many English-language churches set a negative example by modeling lowest common denominator Christianity – often with no formal membership, low commitment, little-defined doctrine and a sense that the local church is peripheral to the Christian life and to God’s plan for missions.
