Admin Assistant | Director of Operations & Finance

The Administrative Assistant to the Director of Operations & Finance plays a vital role in supporting the mission of Reaching & Teaching by providing administrative support related to calendar management, expenses, travel, and other administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, mission-driven, and relationally skilled—able to manage sensitive information, communicate clearly, and thrive in a collaborative ministry environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Administrative Support
- Manage and maintain the Director of Operations & Finances calendar, including scheduling meetings, check-ins, and recurring rhythms.
- Track travel dates, conferences, and events, keeping the Director informed of changes or conflicts.
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and follow-up notes to support clarity and execution.
- Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-up processes to help ensure departmental projects stay on course.
- Process receipts, reimbursements, and expense reports accurately and on time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- A mature follower of Jesus Christ and active member in good standing of a local evangelical church.
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative, donor relations, finance, or development-related role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with strong follow-through.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Comfortable learning new technology; experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Asana, Notion, and leveraging AI tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work well with people of varied personalities and roles.
- Willingness to serve under leadership and work in alignment with Reaching & Teaching’s mission, doctrinal convictions, and core values.
