Peter & Anna Jung

There are more churches in South Korea than convenience stores. Yet with the world’s lowest birthrate amid an increasingly secular culture, many of these churches are aging fast and a growing number of young adults view Christianity with skepticism. Peter and Anna, both born in South Korea but raised in a Korean-immigrant church in Los Angeles, understand firsthand how critical and transformative a healthy church can be. Peter & Anna joined Bellflower Baptist Church in Southern California in 2019 where Peter completed his pastoral internship and served as an assistant pastor. It was there that he and Anna felt a strong desire to plant a faithful, English-speaking church in Seoul. They dream of sparking a slow but steady multiplication of God-treasuring, biblically ordered churches throughout South Korea, ultimately sending qualified missionaries to the nations.
