Michael & Sarah Small

Michael and Sarah have been married for 21 years and have been in vocational ministry for 20 years. They have four beautiful children: Jacob, Natalie, Hannah, and Jonathan. The Small family desires to strengthen the church through theological education and discipleship in the lesser reached areas of the world. They are currently serving in Niger, West Africa partnering with AXIS ministries. Michael develops theological training and resources for national pastors and churches. Sarah is a teacher to children from diverse national and linguistic backgrounds. Both are actively involved in serving in a local church plant in Niamey.

The Small family has previously served in Ecuador from 2017-2020 and Michael completed his Doctor of Education from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 2020. They are continually amazed at how faithful God is to bless and use their family for His glory.
