John & Blanca Baker

John and Blanca Baker are sent by Clifton Baptist Church to serve Rescue Mission Church and Seminario Bíblico Salmo 119 in Barranquilla, Colombia. They have two sons, Elton and Samuel, both adopted from Colombia. After completing his PhD in Old Testament and serving for five years at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he led a team overseeing instructional design and curriculum development, John now serves as Academic Director of the seminary, where he helps strengthen theological education and instructional development for the training of pastors and church leaders in Colombia. Blanca is deeply committed to serving the local church and discipling women.
