Austin and Kate have been overseas since 2016, serving in East Asia and Cambodia, and are currently in Thailand at Bangkok City Baptist Church. Austin serves as a pastoral intern at BCBC while also working on his DMin from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in preparation to plant an English-Speaking church in Southeast Asia. They are passionate about the local church as the means God has ordained to fill the earth with His glory and sanctify saints into the image of the Lord. They have three children: Knox, Blakely, and Ember.
