Aldert and Lian Vorster

Following studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Aldert and Lian deployed to Cape Town, South Africa, in 2024. Their focus is on theological training as well as supporting and strengthening local churches and pastors. Aldert serves as one of the elders at Strand Baptist Church with a focus on discipleship and leadership development. Their goal is to see local churches built up through the ministry of faithful, well-equipped pastors and leaders for the glory of God and the advance of the gospel in Southern Africa. Aldert and Lian have four kids, Andre, Leja, Lara and Josua, and are sent by Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
