Practicum and Global Internship Manager

JOB TYPE: Full-time (40 hrs/week)

The Practicum and Global Internship Manager serves within the Mobilization team of Reaching & Teaching International Ministries. This role is responsible for overseeing the Practicum program and the Global Internship Program under the direction of the Director of Mobilization. The ideal candidate will be a mature disciple of Jesus Christ who embraces RTIM’s ministry DNA, is a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and a strong administrator. The Practicum and Global Internship Manager will carry out all duties in a manner consistent with the purpose, core values, and mission statement of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Program Leadership & Student Engagement:
      • Communicate a compelling vision for student engagement in the Practicum and Global Internship programs
      • Strengthen and strategically support Regional Mobilizers in cultivating relationships with churches, pastors, ministry partners, and prospective students within their assigned regions
      • Lead communication and partnership coordination with Long-term Teams and Global Workers serving as Practicum hosts during summer and winter terms
      • Collaborate with the Director of Mobilization and Global Internship Host Churches to strategically plan and execute the Global Internship program
      • Establish and communicate expectations with Global Internship Host Churches while fostering ongoing feedback and partnership development
    • Practicum Oversight:
      • Oversee the collection, organization, and management of host information and program logistics for the Practicum
      • Direct the interview and candidate evaluation process for all Practicum applications in collaboration with the Practicum team and XLT, including placement decisions
      • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of applicant interviews, evaluations, and placement recommendations within the organization’s CRM system
      • Coordinate and facilitate training for Practicum students during the spring semester
      • Provide leadership for Practicum Coordinators to plan and execute Practicum Orientation
      • Manage and resolve travel-related issues for Practicum participants in a timely and effective manner
      • Provide care, mentorship, and ongoing support for male Practicum students throughout their field experience
    • Global Internship Administration:
      • Lead administrative operations for the Global Internship program, including management of the internship pipeline and development of program resources and processes
      • Oversee the application, interview, and selection process for Global Internship candidates
      • Coordinate and resolve travel-related issues affecting Global Interns throughout the duration of their assignments

REQUIREMENTS:

    • Employee shall maintain membership in a local church with beliefs that RTIM determines to be consistent with RTIM’s statements of faith
    • Employee shall perform all duties consistent with RTIM’s theological beliefs and standards as reflected in its statements of faith
    • Employee shall annually affirm in writing and without reservation RTIM’s statements of faith

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • 2–3 years of ministry experience (missions experience preferred)
    • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage recurring responsibilities without close supervision
    • Works well with others, including remote teammates and individuals with a variety of dispositions and personality types
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Submits to authority and serves in a manner consistent with RTIM’s core values, vision, and mission
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Willingness to learn and utilize organizational platforms such as Asana, Notion, CRM systems, and AI-powered tools
    • Strong administrative and organizational competency
    • Demonstrates spiritual maturity, servant leadership, and sound judgment
