David and Shalom Yiga

David and Shalom are raising support to move to Alberton, South Africa, where David will serve as a Pastoral Assistant at Brakenhurst Baptist Church.
Together with their four lovely daughters, they are being sent out by Del Ray Baptist Church in Alexandria. They are grateful for the opportunity to disciple others and strengthen the church through the faithful proclamation of biblical truth through close, gospel-shaped relationships that speak into real-life situations. Their heartbeat is to make Jesus known as they walk alongside those God brings into their lives, marked by love, truth, and practical gospel application.
Looking ahead, their desire is to eventually return to Uganda, their country of origin, to plant a healthy church or strengthen an existing one.
