Jared and Laurie Garcia

Jared and Laurie serve in the Philippines because they believe God’s glory in Christ is displayed most visibly through healthy churches (Eph 3:10, 21), and they want to see this happen in the northern Philippines. Jared serves as one of the pastors at Pines City Baptist Church in Baguio City and the academic director of Pines City Baptist School of Theology. In addition to training pastors and aspiring pastors at the school, Jared also facilitates and conducts preaching workshops and healthy church seminars in Manila and throughout northern Luzon. Laurie enjoys various opportunities to disciple women, such as offering courses for the Women’s Institute in Baguio (in partnership with RTIM), participating in Bible exposition workshops for ladies, and studying the Bible with ladies in the church. Jared and Laurie have two sons, Carson and Duncan. The Garcias are sent out from Emmanuel Bible Church in Mauldin, SC.
